Juice Guru: Green KickSavory-sweet juice with a bit of a bite.

Another installment from certified personal trainer and R&C Juice Guru, Ixchel Mendoza. Dandelion greens (available at most health food stores) are rich in calcium and iron. Combined with yellow pepper, this blend has a little kick with just a hint of sweetness. It’s great for a late-morning or afternoon snack.

 

Green Kick

1 cup coconut water

2-3 dandelion leaves

1 persian cucumber

1 cup packed kale

1⁄4 cup yellow pepper

1 small banana

1⁄2 cup frozen pineapple

1 tbsp coconut oil

 

Blend until smooth. Optional: Garnish with thin slices of yellow pepper.
